Report a Crime/Rewards
To report an anonymous tip, call 903.567.7867. The tip line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
By guaranteeing a caller’s anonymity, Crime Stoppers enables callers to provide information without fear of retribution from a criminal. Calls are handled over a secure line that does not have caller ID, and conversations are not recorded.
Callers are given a case number, which is used to identify each tip for a later reward once an arrest is made. A Crime Stopper Law Enforcement Coordinator investigates each tip, along with an investigating officer. With the unique identifying case number, a caller can contact Crime Stoppers to check on the status of the investigation at anytime.
When a tip leads to an arrest, a reward of up to $1,000, depending on the crime, will be paid to the person who provided the anonymous tip. When an arrest has been made and the Board establishes and approves the award for that tip, the caller can call to receive the additional information necessary to receive their award anonymously.
