CRIME STOPPERS of VAN ZANDT COUNTY

FUNDING FOR CRIME STOPPERS

The reward money is funded by donations and contributions and a special fee that Van Zandt County judges can charge violators in Van Zandt County.
The Texas Legislature enacted a law that allows judges to collect a one time fee of up to $50 from people placed on probation.
This money can be used by STATE CERTIFIED Crime Stoppers programs to pay rewards only.
